Relatively speaking, the operation of a manual hoist is slightly more complex than that of a chain hoist, which also leads to many personnel who have only used a chain hoist not being familiar with the operation method of a manual hoist.
The main reason for the slightly cumbersome operation of the manual hoist is that the body is equipped with a dedicated adjustment knob, which controls the direction of the equipment's operation. The knob has three gears, namely up, down, and neutral, and the corresponding positions of the knob are clearly marked for easy reference.

When carrying out lifting operations, adjust the knob to the up position and repeatedly turn the handle, and the lifting chain will rise smoothly; When it is necessary to lower heavy objects or perform return operations, switch the knob to the down position and turn the handle to drive the lifting chain down; To unload the load and manually adjust the length of the chain freely, simply turn the knob to the neutral position, and you can easily pull the chain to adjust its length freely.
The above is the basic operation process of the hand-operated hoist. As long as you master the functions and uses of each gear of the knob, you can easily operate it after becoming familiar with it.
