As is well known, flat lifting belts are generally composed of two parts: the belt body and the eye ring. The purpose of designing the eye ring is to better connect the lifting belt with the hook or hoist ring, and to use a closed ring structure to prevent the two from detaching, thereby ensuring the safety of lifting and hoisting belt operations. There is an unwritten rule for the treatment process of the eye ring, which is to meet sufficient wear resistance.
There are obvious differences between the eye and body parts of flat lifting belts that people usually see, either due to different materials, colors, thicknesses, or both. This is the main manifestation of special design. The eye of flat lifting belts can have the same strength as the body, which means that thickening treatment is not necessary (thickening treatment has greater strength), but wear-resistant materials or protection must be selected.
The flat lifting belt will bear all the weight during the lifting process, and the ring eye part will not only bear huge loads, but also constantly bear the friction caused by huge loads, that is, the friction between the ring eye and the hook or suspension ring. Under such friction, the wear and tear of the flat lifting belt will be exacerbated, which will bring huge safety hazards. So this is an unwritten fixation for flat lifting belts, and the eye must have sufficient wear resistance.
