Hand pulled haws used in harsh environments will naturally accumulate a lot of dust and impurities over time. We all know that clothes can be soaked in water for cleaning when they are dirty, and car bodies can be washed with a water gun when they are dirty. Can the "chain hoist" also be cleaned in this way? The answer is definitely not possible.
The entire material of the chain hoist is made of metal, which is prone to rusting when in contact with water. Rusted chain hoists will greatly reduce their work efficiency, safety performance, and lifespan. The best way to clean the dust on the chain hoist is to use a hair dryer to perform a simple dust removal treatment on the entire machine, and then wipe the surface with gasoline. This makes it easy to wipe off the dust and stains on the chain hoist.
If there are impurities in the narrow slit of the chain hoist, you can also drop a few drops of oil. After the oil penetrates the impurities, we will clean them out with relatively small hard objects.
Finally, we will apply rust proof grease to the cleaned chain hoist and place it in a dry and ventilated place.
